FlowTrack is a workforce time-tracking product provided by IntelliSolution. The FlowTrack browser extension ("the Extension") works together with the FlowTrack desktop agent to let users book time against their Asana and Jira tasks. This policy explains what the Extension collects, how it is used, and how it is protected.
The Extension adds a time-booking panel to Asana (app.asana.com) and Jira
(*.atlassian.net) task pages. It lets a user start and stop timers and record
time entries against the task they are viewing. The Extension communicates with the FlowTrack
desktop agent installed on the same machine to obtain the user's booking identity and to relay
time entries to the FlowTrack backend service operated by IntelliSolution.
FlowTrack is designed to respect employee privacy. The Extension does not:
Information processed by the Extension is used solely to provide the time-booking feature: recording time entries against tasks and syncing them to the user's FlowTrack account. It is used only for the Extension's single purpose and is not repurposed.
Time-booking data is transmitted only to the FlowTrack backend service operated by IntelliSolution for the customer whose account the user belongs to.
Communication between the Extension, the desktop agent, and the FlowTrack backend is protected in transit. Authentication is handled by the desktop agent's machine credential; the Extension does not require a separate browser login and does not store account passwords.
Time entries are retained in the customer's FlowTrack account according to the customer's own data-retention configuration. Locally queued entries are removed from the device once they are successfully delivered to the backend.
